Download] [torrent Full] i realy wanted to like this game, i like all the elements in it, but it has massive control problems. is is not playable, at least with keyboard and keyboard + mouse is worse. it is a bad port.i am getting a refund.. Don't let the trailer fool you - this is a cookie clicker game; not much in the way of good gameplay sadly. Not a terrible way to pass time but certainly not particularly engaging.Also, DO NOT buy this unless you have a controller to play it with, keyboard is a mess.. CONTROLS ARE HORRIBLE. A lot of interesting concepts executed poorly. Nearly every new mechanic gets old and then infuriating within a few minutes. The first system involves running away from the ceaseless tide of enemies that are a pain to kill with the garbage little peashotter that you start with, and will keep murdering you until you can finally upgrade your weapons. Once you're finally powerful enough that combat isn't awful and griefy you discover the tamagotchi-esque manager system, which is cool and fun, until it isn't. your main focus is now running around fervently trying to collect items keep your stupid little executives happy and trying to find middle managers, who keep dying because of the stupid f@#king screen lock battles, which are not enjoyable at any point during the game. I really wanted to like this, because I love twin stick shooters and the weapon combat system is really cool, but i ended up being♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥off through every moment of gameplay.. Vostok Inc. is an attempt to make an idle game that replaces tried and tired clicker gameplay with a twin-stick shooter. So does it succeed? Mostly.The first issue I would mention is that it, despite being a twin stick shooter, does not support twin-stick shooting. What I mean by that is you can not bind the left control stick to ANYTHING if you're using a controller. In addition, there didn't appear to be any buttons for firing up or down when I tried (for added laughs, firing left and right used the left and right bumpers by default). Seeing as they've been getting heat over this for years to no effect, they must be either uncaring or uncapable in regards to fixing this. And I do mean "fixing." The second they said they had controller support, it went from being a nice-to-have to being a key component.If you use a keyboard the game is fine, although enemy variety is still severely lacking. I guess what I'm getting at is this game was a good idea, but you should wait for a sale if you're planning on picking this up.. EDIT: Dev replied to my review and implied there is an options menu that I missed, where you can control the resolution and cursor display. I cannot confirm myself.----------TL;DR - Wait for an options screen and support for customization.----------No Options screen, or support for any sort of customization. Runs in an old and outdated resolution by default without the ability to change it.Controls seem to favour keyboard use even with mouse support not being able to see where your cursor is or adjust how fast it moves around is a real shame.What could potentially be a fun game ruined by the lack of support for the user to adjust the game to work best for their setup. Marauder (miniboss) enemy increased loot drop Tweaked the time between groupings of enemies so things are a little less hectic. Late game economy smoothed out. Buildings after the School are now cheaper to buy or give greater returns. The targeting computer toggle state is now saved into the player profile. Arrow keys used to scroll stats and tutorial log (set as right stick). Various other small tweaks and fixes.Keyboard rebinding is done (pending localisation and testing) and will be patched as soon as it's tested and localised..
